The gastro quartet for Hamburg

The first "playable restaurant guide" for Hamburg is out today. Childhood memories of quartet games or the classic car cards are awakened. 32 restaurants of all categories are represented - a colorful mix of starred kitchens, trendy bars, international country kitchens, neighborhood shops and much more, leads us deliciously and colorfully through the Hanseatic city. QR codes on each playing card can be used to reserve a table or order food directly in the restaurant.
Participating restaurants do not pay a fee for appearing in the game - the Hamburg Gastro Quartet is a friendly tool to make it easier for local gastronomy to restart in the post-Corona phase.

The selection of restaurants was curated by Mariko Schmitz from sakelovers.de together with the inventor and publisher of the game, Alexander van Hessen, founder and partner of Berlin Food Week. The gastro quartet had a successful start in April 2021 in Berlin. Due to the very positive feedback and inquiries from other cities, Hamburg is now the sensible continuation. Düsseldorf, Munich & Frankfurt are to follow.
